Eternal Banners privacy policy

Eternal Banners is a Shopify app that adds banner blocks to a store's theme. This policy explains what the app stores, why, and for how long.

What the app stores

• The store's myshopify.com domain and the access token Shopify issues when the app is installed. The app uses them only to read the store's plan and save it where the banners can read it.
• The store's plan (Free or Pro), saved in the store itself as app data. Shopify reports which plan a store pays for.

The banners' content (texts, images, videos and settings) is saved by Shopify in the store's theme, not by the app.

What the app doesn't collect

The app doesn't access, collect or store any information about the store's customers or orders, or about the store's staff. The banners don't use cookies or tracking, and they don't send data anywhere: they load from Shopify's servers like the rest of the theme.

Where the data lives

The app's server runs on Fly.io in the United States. Data is never sold or shared with anyone else.

How long the data is kept

When a store uninstalls the app, its domain and access token are deleted right away. Shopify also asks the app to erase a store's data 48 hours after uninstalling, and the app confirms nothing is left.
